I would like to apologize for not having many posts this week. You see, something monumental happened to me this week. For the first time ever, in history, I was turned down for a dog photo. I can’t believe it either. Let me set up the situation. I was at work, and I took a break. As soon as I got outside there was a couple walking towards me with an ugly German Shepherd. This thing looked terrible. I almost was going to ignore them, but I realized that all dogs are awesome, for the most part, and I shouldn’t judge a book by it’s cover, because I hate it when that happens to me.

Anyway, I approach them and say, “Hi, I run a website about dogs, and I don’t have any photos of any German Shepherds, can I take a picture of yours?”
“Right now,” says the man.
“Of course right now,” I reply, “that would be great.”
“No, I mean, take the picture right now!” Yelled the angry brit.
“Okay, well I need to be in the photo, is that alright?”
At this point the woman chimes in, “No, we’re all set.”

WTF? Do I come off as a crackhead? What bad could possibly come of me getting a photo with a dog? If you’re in a hurry then say so, if not, don’t be a dick, come on!

Artists Rendering of Said Deniers

Anyway, I will be getting a lot more photos this weekend as we will have to take Quimby to the dog park at least once. There are also some other awesome dogs in the neighborhood that I absolutely need to meet!
