Not named after the bank, this beautiful boy was hanging out at the dog park on Saturday morning. It was taken the same day as Monday’s dogs. Chase was the best sitter I’ve come across, and let me get several great shots.

I could have sworn that these two pups were related, but alas, they were not. They were far too busy having fun to rock out a Pog and Dog photo, and I can’t say I blame them. I was very hungover this fall afternoon, (after playing a show the night before) but the 24 oz Twisted Tea (nasty) I consumed before we left for the park helped my cause. Quimby is now officaly a rock star, and when he arrives, he either gets in with the party, or gets a party started, so it’s getting harder to get awesome dogs to relax long enough for a photo. Not that I mind. I would rather see him having fun with other dogs, than sleeping or eating more rocks. You can see his tail in this photo, as he is trying to play with these two dalmatians, Callie and Buttons.

Ew, the title of this post is grossing me out, so I know it’s a good one. On Sunday, after taking Quimby to the Rock Quarry (more photos of that still to come), my Dad, who was insanely jealous of the awesomeness of having a dog, stopped in for a visit. It being Sunday, I was already watching football, but I made time to get a photo of his dog. He got it from some farm, with people who had never trained it. I don’t remember what kind it is- brittney spearnal or something. His name was Rookie, but my dad changed it to Rocco.

I had to drop something off at his house yesterday and there was a book on the table: Gun Dogs. Just click the link to the book. Don’t want to? Fine…

Anyway, here’s Rocco, my dads new gun dog:

Went into a bar called “The Snug” here in Portland, Maine. Low and behold there were not one but two dogs in there. This was before I had the business cards printed out, so unfortunately no names. I call the little one Pinchot and the big one Sandy.

The classic two in one shot.

Little Pinchot was trying to pick a fight with this gentle giant, but Sandy wasn’t having it.
